Mamas w. kids just starting kindergarten

Besides being a mama, I'm a grad student in journalism and I'm writing an article (homework!) on how the *mamas* are doing on the first day of school. I hope it's ok to post here to ask if any of you who've just started their babes in kindergarten would mind being interviewed via email on *your* feelings and hopes and fears on the first day. PM me

mine started 3 weeks ago. He is our baby the youngest of 3 and such a joy to be around. I was worried about the other kids that he would be around, worried about how he would react to the teachers ( been with me since he was born, co sleep and the whole nine yards). When I took him that first day it was so hard to let someone else have a voice in his life. I cried all day. The next day we found out we were having another baby.

Mine started 2 weeks ago and I happened to be in the hospital with some pregnancy related issues when she had her first day. I felt terrible about missing it. So, sure, I'd be willing to answer some questions if you want to PM me.
