Just a weird thought

Are there any intact pro-circumcision advocates?? Would, or could there be? For that matter, do intact doctors ever go pro-circ?? Is all this pro-circ propaganda because a few boys got circ'd, grew up with a major but unconscious complex and became doctors (or scientists)??
Just a weird thought.

I've wondered that too. I always assumed that most docs that perform circs are circ'd themselves, but then I started to wonder if that was true.

There is a guy on another forum who recently got circumcised and is very pro-circ. I wonder how long he was pro-circ BEFORE he got circ'd himself? Hmmm

There must be something wrong with me though because I find myself wondering the circ-status of random men I see on a daily basis. :

Oh yeah. I know several men that are intact and has their sons circed. One said that he was made fun of as a teen and he didn't want his son to go through that. I don't know what the other reasons were. It makes me sick that they do that to their sons, yet they won't undergo the procedure they think is so great. However, it stems from the majority here being circed.

I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that a lot of the European researchers and WHO officials and AIDS activists who are involved in promoting the "circumcision prevents HIV nonsense" are intact. :

That I can see, as when those guys were young they very well may have had it rough. I heard of one intact surfer dad who circ'd his son because he got sand under his foreskin once too many times!

We need to ask them if they're rushing out to have this "beneficial" procedure done themselves. And then publish the answers. That might wake some people up!

Most of the female procirc advocates are intact. I think it's very hypocritical of them not to get circ'd.

OMG, either you and I both are weird...or we are both normal!!! I do the same thing. I literally have looked at a number of people in a day and wondered...circed...intact...circed...intact...I was at the mall the other day and I was running percentages in my head....

Um, yeah, that is very weird, to put it mildly.

These sand stories are urban myths, too. How many women have gotten
sand in their yonis at the beach?? Plenty, right? The last thing in the world
that a woman wants to do with that situation is remove the protective skin
that kept even more sand from getting in to the delicate tissues. Well, guess what? guys feel the same way. Amputating the protective cover of the delicate under tissues would not make any sense at all.

Thanks for bringing this story up because we need to send this fallacy packing.

One of the guys on Howard Sterns radio show is intact and circed his sons so they wouldn't be embarassed like he was in the lockerroom. Luckily, Howard and Robin always make him sound like a tool with their wonderful intactivism :

Take care,
Tara

I admit I do wonder when I see babies if the parents left them intact or not. It comes with the territory of intactivism I guess We are trying our best to get the percentages down, and meeting more and more intact infants/children/men is the fruit of our work....except, it's not really something you can know without asking, which is usually not something people get into after a casual meeting. So, I am left wondering....well, I think "hoping" is a better word.

I guess that makes us the three weird musketeers....I do this too!
Especially when I see babes...how can one who is so involved in intactivism not wonder? at least occasionally?

Then there's something wrong with me as well.

I've developed a (completely unfounded and probably a little mean-spirited) theory on this...

Loud, obnoxious, mock-aggressive (think stereotypical "frat-boy" behavior)= Proudly circ'd.

Laid-back, quietly confident, attentive= Proudly intact.

Though this theory may have no basis in reality whatsoever, it's worth a giggle or two the next time you're at the mall.

I wonder how many intact guys were actually the subject of lockerroom comments from their circ'd classmates versus how many simply internally fixated on their intactness as a difference when no one else really paid any attention, such as when one is slightly heavier/thinner/shorter/hairier/darker-skinned/lighter-skinned/etc than their peers at a time when being "just like everyone else" seems important?

SO I am not the only one wondering about men's circ status. I try not to think about the babies except when I see a little girl I think "You are a lucky baby."
I find I only think about it really with babies...i wonder "did they cut you?" "did you go through that pain?" and, if they are crying and they look really young newborns..I definitely wonder :

I need to ask him how he knew exactly what his ds was going to love doing when he got older. I mean - it might be handy knowing what are kids are going to be when they grow up before they grow up.

YES, this was exactly the case in HS when I was friends with one of the few intact boys at that time. It was funny, he made a big confessional out of the fact that he was intact, but I just shrugged my shoulders about it. Turns out he was more fixated on it than anyone else. He admitted that no on ever said a word about it to him, he was just worried that they would. This was at a time when maybe 1 out of 30 were intact and he got over it and had plenty of gf's, etc.

: Never looked at it quite that way, but I will from now on.
