I'm *this* close to buying some sort of depends at the store today....so I feel your pain....

I have gone through more underwear in the last few weeks than I typically do in an entire year! lol

Must be because we're Virginians... so far we seem to be the only ones with the issue.

Oh, no, geography has no bearing! I had bronchitis two months ago. Everytime I coughed, I piddled my pants. I'm in Seattle. I don't remember where pixiesmama is, but she was also similarly stricken. And maisiedotes in Maine just had a post about the trials of the upper respiratory plague and its associated, um, effects.

Rest assured that the crud and its associated impact on the bladder is working its way through all the November mamas, regardless of their geographic location.

Here's to quick healing!

OHH we all had the beastly six week HARD cough... depends are your friend!

haha- good to know I'm remembered for peeing my pants!

I'm in IL but from NC- I think it's worse this time since it's my 2nd child, but I did have *some* problems last time.

I did end up in depends at the height of my cold- and I slept on a waterproof pad too. It was distressing, but luckily I think I'm through the worst of the coughing and sneezing now. Seems that a lot of us have colds lately, which I would chalk up to the season except that in the EXACT same week in my preg with Pixie I got a bad cold as well... maybe we're just prone to germs at this particular time in our preg....??? Weird.

Hope everyone is feeling better (and drier! )

I could use a catheter or some depends myself- even if only to eliminate my getting up 5 times a night to use the bathroom. I can't stop peeing! And I now have a cough, which is as bad for me with the pants-peeing as sneezing. Good stuff.

Oh Celeste! I hate when that happens. Having a cold really sucks right about now.

I was around two people with colds today and UGH I wanted to run! I know immunity is sometimes low in pregnancy and the last thing I need right now is a whopping cold! I feel like my nose is already starting to itch.

Sorry you're so sneezy!

What I would give to not get up half a dozen times a night to pee!

I am so sorry you mamas have to worry about day time pee issues on top of it I am sure my time will come as well. It has happened a few times thus far and I am thinking that a think cloth mama pad would be so nice in times like those!

I've woken up with a sore throat the last two mornings, but shook it off during the day. I'm hoping it's just a dry hotel room. Guess I'll find out when I get home... though you girls aren't making me want to rush home to Virginia, if y'all have colds up there!

But at least I've got the panty liners already.

I'm a Virginian. Have been all my life. I have a little tickle in the back of my throat, but otherwise I seemed to get all my sinus stuff in the spring. I've also been around a lot of kids lately with everyone coming into the health departments for school shots. Thought I may have picked up something from one of them. I have a bit of drip in my throat and a little headache, but otherwise I'm fine.

I've been coughing a lot too, and fortunately I'm not leaking when doing so, but my upper belly HURTS SO BADLY from all the coughing. I'm constantly trying to stop myself from coughing because I can'y stand the ab pain anymore. I'm getting nervous that all the coughing has split my ab muscles...
