Garage Sale a bust, so the resale shop? Update #5

We have a bunch of baby things (dresser, rocker, crib, swing, co-sleep) that we tried to have a garage sale for today, but we only sold a booster seat and some clothes . Dh is a good salesman/negotiator and I thought baby things would sell well but ; our last garage sale went much better. So I'm thinking of the children's resale shop "Kids Junction".

Is there anything I should know about using a (resale-they pay up front)place like this?

What about Craigslist?

definately craigslist...just watch for scammers. I've never encountered any, but many do.

I'd do Craigslist first... resale stores have to cover overhead (rent, employee salaries) and make a profit too so they pay a ridiculously small amount.

With school starting and the general pain in the rear that Craigslist can be, particularly with so many thing (and school starting) we decided to do the resale.

We went to Kid to Kid (on W. Bitters for SanAntonians) and we received just what we had expected from the garage sale!

The shop looks great, the products look great, and the staff are friendly. I didn't get out of there without getting the push tricycle that I wanted for dd . I wish there was one closer.

We have one of these now - it's brand new and really nice. They couldn't take any of my stuff, cause they were so full at the time. I put it in another shop, but will probably try again next month...
