She got me my glider today at Babies R Us! I love it. It's in my room until the nursery gets painted.

Here it is: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...entPage=search

Again, I heart my mom

Ooh, it is beautiful! My father got us a glider and DH and I fight over it every night. Is that the color you got? It will match anything... (OMG, I sound like my mother!)

Oooo! I'm jealous! I wanted that kind of glider cuz it transitions right into the den and looks great! Congrats! 'Way to go' to your Mom!

That's awesome!!! Two of my friends here were out garage saleing and they found a glider (the traditional kind, not the fancy schmancy one you got!) and they got it for me as a gift. I just love it!!! Yours is much nicer though, how awesome of your mom to get that! I'm jealous!

It's gorgeous!

My mom has continually said she wants to send me some money for baby stuff but after paying for stuff for mu SIL and brother's baby, she hasn't sent anything. I am pouting. Really! I cannot believe it. So unlike me! I guess I feel replaced and unimportant now that my beloved brother has decided to be a son again and has come home to get married and start a family. *sigh* But I guess I already had my turn with my first three.

Ooh, I'm so jealous! I've always wanted a glider with a nursing stool, but we've never been able to justify the extra expense. I'm sure you will spend many precious hours in that beautiful chair!

Wow! That's a nice chair. I have no room for something like that though. I could swing a traditional rocker, but nothing that fancy would last in my house.

We live with my parents...

(long story: they moved out so we could rent from them then my mom's cancer came back so they have moved back in to be closer to her treatments...)

...so she hears me complaining about not having time left for the nursery. She bit the bullet and took me to BRU last night and was like what's something stressful that you will need right away. I registered for the ottoman too, but its not super comfy, so if I just get a nursing stool instead it will be okay.
I think since we live together and the nursery is in her house, she feels more responsibility for Baby than she would otherwise.
I wanted my beautiful crib too, but since we are co-sleeping I couldn't justify it to her lol

Yeah Mom!! Looks great too, I always love test sitting in them when we are there at BRU hehe (I have an older smaller one, but it's dying. I really need to replace it soon)

nice....I wish I had gotten one like that with ds. I love the glider we have (its a typical wooden frame with small cushions), I just wish it were more cushiony/cozy like yours.

I keep finding reasons to go to BRU so I can sit in the gliders and stop at the really good ice cream place near the store on the way out.
