Can anyone compare a pg while obese w/a healthy weight pg?

Hey there, I am seriously fighting baby fever. I am currently obese, was just under "obese" with my last 2 pg. Will NOT get pg at this weight as my last pg was so painful on my joints. Am wondering if losing this weight is likely to make any difference.

Hi, I'm currently overweight too and I've been TTC for a while. I've been trying to get in shape but I'm not putting off TTC till then. I think it would be logical that the more weight you're carrying around, the more toll it will take on your body. I know that just from being overweight now and the difference I feel when I gain or lose 5 pounds. However I think it can be possible to have a "normal" pregnancy while obese, and obviously it can be possible to have a "problem" pregnancy while at your ideal weight.

Hi. I started out slightly overweight with my twins (I could have stood to lose 10 - 20 lbs, but not more). I gained 65 lbs with them though and started my pregnancy w/ dd#3 obese, and I am obese w/ this one (I just haven't lost all the weight yet). I haven't really noticed it's any harder, but I think I got used to being heavy kwim? I didn't want to put off TTC until I hit some magic weight. Soon enough I will be done having kids and I will have time to lose weight, but since I'm healthy except my weight I decided to TTC when we were ready. I have already gained 10 with this pregnancy, but I am just trying not to worry about it. I can go back to WW in Feb. when the baby arrives (G/d willing) safe & sound.
