This baby has been so pleasantly active for me. It has given me so much more confidence this pregnancy because I have been able to feel her so often. However, she has been slowing down a lot the last few days and its making me paranoid. I feel her occassionally still, but not as often or a strongly as before. I know babies tend to slow down towards the end, but we're not that close to the end. I have a previous loss, so am prone to being really nervous. I'm going to my MW on Tuesday afternoon anyway, so I am trying to stay calm and not freak out. Anyone else's babe slowing down these days?

My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

My babe seems to go through cycles. She/he has a period (usually a few days) of extreme activeness, then another period (of another few days) of quietness and stillness that scares the $"@! out of me. We're in one of the quieter periods right now, and mama doesn't like it.
Talk to your midwife at your appointment. She should be able to reassure you that everything is fine.

My babe's movements are cyclical too. Some weeks non-stop, others hard to feel. Babe COULd be turned towards your back maybe, so you're not feeling as much??

I get nervous when people talk about strong kicks- I definitely feel some strong ones but nothing that hurts or even makes me uncomfortable.
I tend to get nervous after work (before I get home) because I don't notice her at regular intervals throughout the day but I have read that often times the baby is rocked to sleep from all my frantic running around.... and as soon as I get home and lay down on the couch she starts her tai chi again...

My little one is NOT slowing down...I find the kicks aren't painful yet most of the time...the extra padding I guess helps....but I hate the cervix bumps....feels like pinches or bites on my cervix and drives me bonkers! I just hope he/she is cooperative at our ultrasound tomorrow!
