Sorry if this isn't allowed here. I have no personal connection with this site, but they have really fun CDs available. They're called Shoofly Audio (www.shooflyaudio.com) and they sell CDs/downloads that are GREAT for travel, home, car, quiet time, etc. We have 3 of the CDs now and really enjoy them. Each one has a different arrangement of music, stories, and poems geared for kids. My 3 yr old ds loves them, and I imagine it's the kind of thing he will enjoy for several more years (I think the Shoofly site claims they're aimed for kids ages 3-7).
I know people often seek something interesting to listen to on long car trips (which we do a lot), and these have been a big hit, as have books on tape from our local public library.
