So about noon today I started getting little cramps, which settled into a rhythm of about 3 min apart. We've gone grocery shopping and they continued at about 5 min apart and getting more intense. My Doula thinks it sounds like early labour, so wish me luck and labour vibes!

Just lost my mucous plug! Still having contractions! Hooray! My baby is on it's way!

Bleah. Labour fizzled. However, my doula is with another client, so maybe baby is just waiting for her to be done..... this is frustrating!

It can be very frustrating!! I've been having off and on contractions it seems like forever. It's almost like the baby decides it's time, then changes his mind. So I wait. I hope you have your baby soon...labor vibes to you!

Okay, now we're up to every five minutes apart, and I can't talk through them anymore. I've called DF home from work, so this better be it!

Update

So it wasn't today... it wasn't tomorrow... it wasn't even the next day.

But my good friend Sarah, otherwise known as Twinklefae was born a Mother this morning, August 29th at 5:24am to a beautiful baby boy!!!

She thought it would be Wednesday - just had this feeling - only it was the following Wednesday!

A big boy at 9 lbs 5 oz, 20 inches long who is currently resting in his father's arms.

I am sure she will want to fill you all in on the rest of the details when she feels up to it - but I will brag that she pushed him out in little over an hour and only had one small tear!

I would like to be the first to wish her and her fiance congratulations and a happy babymoon!

Sarah - If you are reading this WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!! I am so happy for you WTG Momma. You had a rough ride there at the end. So happy you now have your baby boy in your arms. Rest well and post an update when you feel ready. For now I am extremely happy to add you and your DS to the welcome thread.
