Any one else have these evenings? Some days I feel like the bouncy pregnant woman. Somedays I feel like a klutsy cow with bad intestines. Today is a cow day. Someone tell me why we do this voluntarily? :

This is funny! Sorry you're having a rough day. I felt like the whole last month of pregnancy last time was this way...something to look forward to.

But I definitely have those days. Most days are great, others are downright terrible. I hope things improve!

I have back fat too if it makes you feel better. Ugh, I hate it. I hate watching myself gain weight. When I noticed a few weeks ago that I was gaining in my back and butt, it was rather depressing. Luckily, it should come off pretty easily once baby is born.

What's your secret? I keep hearing how it won't ever come off, blah blah blah and I'm getting totally FREAKED because I was a toned yoga woman just a few short months ago and as soon as I got my BFP, boom, back fat. Which has only gotten worse.

Plus the restless leg thing, plus the swelling in the feet and ankles, plus I can't eat very much at one time any more so I have to eat my meals in stages, plus the shooting pains in my toes (what the heck IS that!!!!), and last but not least, the bladder issues!

But still, happy to be pregnant, even though it doesn't sound like it!

I have 2 tips to losing baby weight-
Breastfeed and chase your toddler! Seriously, I did only these 2 things and by the time Pixie was 2 I was at my lowest adult weight (by 10 lbs.) Oh, and don't eat what they don't eat.... as in, don't eat your meal and then clean their plate TOO when they're done.

Breastfeeding! Actually, I still kept 10 lbs. from dd2, but with my first, I lost it all + 5 more lbs. by the time she was 3 months old. The second time, I was doing really good and only 8 lbs. above pp weight when I went on Prozac at 3 months pp. I gained 12 lbs. in a month. Ugh! I had a lot of trouble getting that weight off and never did get it all off. But I'm hoping that I won't need any antidepressants this time and that nursing will go well and it will all come off easily. I'm also planning to start running when this one is 2-3 months old. I had just started running before I got pregnant, and I was really enjoying how good I felt. I want to look good when dh returns from Iraq.

I second the breastfeeding and kiddo chasing! I was back to pre-preggo weight in less than 6 weeks with baby #1 and lord knows I didn't do anything special. I really don't worry about losing it after, but I am struggling with watching my body crash during. Vain maybe, but still tough.

However, today is a better day.

Exclusive breastfeeding and pumping when returning to work made me sooooo thin, some people asked me if I was ill or something... This happened withe both boys, however it happened more slowly with my second, since I had gained like 4 or 5 kg more than with my first. This time I'm even heavier than with my second, so it will take a tad more...

Yes, I am so right there with you! I need a pedicure SOOOO badly, my feet are nasty and my toe nail paint is chipping But I can't reach them even to get the polish off, let alone buff them down. That was my main treat when I was preg with Landon, getting pedi's every other week for the last 2 months when I got to this stage. Having someone rub the heck out of my feet was just heaven!

As far as the weight goes, yes breastfeeding helps a lot! I didn't exclusively bf my first and it took an insane amount of time to drop any weight (and I think I actually continued to gain after having her, but I had some eating difficulties) and with DS I was down to within 15 lbs of my pre preg weight by the first 2 months.

I always lost almost all of the baby weight and pregnancy within a few weeks, but then go on to gain 50 back within three months!!! I just cannot do that this time. I am too big. I plan to exclusively BF and get active again and hope hope hope that I can eat a great diet and keep losing pre-pregnancy weight.

I have back fat too. And I can't stop pooping. No diarrhea at least... but painted toenails? I can't even bend over far enough to tie my shoes!!!
