I borrowed a book from my library outlining all of the special days, holidays, events, silly holidays, hallmark holidays, etc. that schools traditionally celebrate. It also helps with theme ideas, etc. but it's for last year.
I was wondering if there was a current one online for the 2007/08 school year because I'm not sure if my library has this book updated for this school year. I'd like to use this opportunity to prepare some special days, field trips, etc. to celebrate some of these days with my kids :-) I'm just looking for a list of all of the special "days" of the year that have some meaning. Like earth day, presidents day, breastfeeding week, along with traditional holidays.
