WOHMs and Hs'ing?

I'm a WOHM who shares hs'ing with a SAHP (who also goes to night school.) While dp is on board with hs'ing, the actuality of day-to-day curriculum planning falls to me and dc. Well, dd is merely pre-K for now and I've thought up some unit type studies for each month. Something simple that ds can participate in as well (dc= 4 and 2 yo respectively.) So Dp needs to merely complete one "academic" task with dc, and I will complete another in the evening. Otherwise, we will be concentrating on simple tasks -- breakfast, washing up, chores, then lessons. Then play, lunch, nap/ quiet time, snack, more play, dinner, evening stories, bath, play, bedtime stories, bedtime, lights out. Things Dp could do include watercolor painting, natural playdough, and beeswax crayons or modelling. In the evenings, I can read to the dc. We could read items pertinent to the letter/ number of the month. After bath we could also read for fun as we do now. We could also focus on after dinner dish washing, packing left overs, and prepping food for the next day.

Anyone else in similar straights?

We're trying to work out some kind of balance. DH works full time but has a flexible schedule. I need to work at least one afternoon per week, possibly a morning as well. We've been playing with shifting the schedule around a couple of days a week so that we share the days with the kids. In Dh's time with them he works on woodwork projects, baking, hikes, bike rides, library trips, etc. But I am still the primary hs-er. Mine are so little right now they don't need much in the way of formal academics, so basically whatever they do in that time they are benefitting from time together.
