Hi all,

I'd like to join your DDC, if its not too late...

A bit about myself... I am pregnant with my first babe (yipeee!!!--so excited) and due in early November. Don't know if the babe is a girl or a boy.

I am a recent transplant to the New Jersey from Seattle (moved for husband's job--got pregnant less than a month later--big life chanes this year : ). I work from home as a PhD student. We have a sweet dog, and a kitty who is the empress of our home.

Anything else you want to know (if its not too late to join)?

I'm a first-timer, too.
I called NJ home for many years--I was in the Philly suburbs. A big change from Seattle--I hope you're making the adjustment OK.
This is a great group. You say you're a PhD student; I hate to make assumptions about your age, but if you're over 30, there's a thread on the main board for women pregnant with their first in their 30s. It's a good board, too!
