So confused!

I know this sounds dumb....but I am so confused about the way that all of this works. I've been doing OPKs for a couple of months now and I always only show one day where both lines are dark. Can anyone tell me if you are more likely to get pg before the two dark lines appear, while they are there, or if you still can afterwards? I've read that the sperm is supposed to be present to meet the egg, so I would think it would be before.

I feel like I am losing my mind trying to figure it out. How is it possible that millions of women get pg every day without jumping through all of this hoop-la???

Hmmmm? Any ideas would be great! We've been TTC for about a year now, so it's not horribly frustrating YET, but I just can't figure it all out.

Thanks!

Hi Em's mom,
First of all OPK's are confusing.

How I understand it is that the OPK's show the level of the LH hormone and after you get your positive you should ovulate 24-36 hrs AFTER that.

All the best.
