CD stash update...

YAY!

I made an excel spreadsheet to keep track of what I need, whats on it's way, and what I already have in my possession. It seems that scouring all these websites has my head spinning.

So far DD is almost set. I just need some med inserts for her. But things for the baby are a slow go. I guess since I need a lot of newborn and smalls. Right now I'm just looking for wraps (BSWW) and small FBs. But I really need to take it easy!!!

I am obsessed. But it's a fun obsession!

OMG, I'm SO RELIEVED to know that I am not the only person with a diaper spreadsheet. What did our mother's do without excel?!?!

That is for both of you for being so organized!

I have a spreadsheet too! Mostly to keep track of how much I have spent/recouped (helps me justify it to myself) but it is also interesting to see all the dipes we have tried and the sheer amount of CD'ing stuff that has come through this house! I CD'ed DD for almost 18 mos and tried a *ton* of stuff, reselling as I went, and I think I only spent $150 in the long run.

Don't want to say how much the current newborn stash has cost so far though! :

It might seem like a lot, but....Maybe this diaper savings calculator will make you feel better about how much money you've spent! (it's still probably less than sposies! )

Too bad there's not a spot on the calculator to see how much money you'll save on diaper rash ointments and creams too since your baby probably won't have diaper rash in CDs! Oh and don't forget how much you'll save if you're using cloth wipes

I think the word you're looking for is actually "obsessive-compulsive".

Yeah, OCD does run in my family. But I seriously was needing to think about what I was looking at. So far I don't need any more medium FBs...so I can stop looking at those.

It's really helping me to focus my search efforts on what I still need instead of continuing to look for things that I already have.

Today I just added the cost of each thing so I can get a running total of how much I've spent. Not too bad so far. In fact, the savings from using borrowed CDs the past couple months minus what I've spent is still really good. I know it won't be once I start getting more of my newborn/small stuff though.
