Birthing From Within Doula/CBE Program

Has anyone here gone through any one of these programs? I would love to hear about your experience! I found that I'm most interested in the Birth Arts program but then I just stumbled upon this and it also looks great. Any imput is appreciated!

I am currently certifying with the Birthing from Within mentoring program. I have also been mentoring classes since January. I have to say that Birthing from Within just felt like the way to go. I love this program for many reasons. BFW supports all pregnant women and their partners. It is a very holistic program that focuses not only on the physical aspects of labor, but also the emotional, cultural and spiritual side not only of labor but also of postpartum and beyond. It really is so different from any other program out there, and was exactly what I was looking for on a lot of levels. Hope that helps!

Well it's definitely right up my alley but unfortunately, I don't think it's realistic for me. The workshops required aren't even remotely close to where I live. And the program fees are kind of confusing me. Anyway, thanks for your response.

I understand that the financial part can be hard. I had to wait for a workshop to come to a place I could get to, and I also had to save up for a while. That being said, the workshop was really a life changing event for me. I haven't regretted going for one minute. If you feel like BFW is the way to go, it might be worth the wait. Whatever path you choose for your journey, best wishes!
