I am scared

I am bleeding..Just went to the bathroom and there was blood in my underwear and I wiped like 3 or 4 times a bunch away. It was reddish-brown.

I am waiting on my sister so I can go the dr.

Positive vibes everyone..

and one scary question..Will they be able to tell me if I am miscarrying?

What will they do when I get there?

First of all big s Do you know how far along you are? If you are still early they probably will check to see if your cervix is closed, possibly do an u/s and also some bloodwork (with a repeat in 2 days). There really isn't much that can be done at this point, but for peace of mind I understand the need to know. I had bleeding with my other 2 pregnancies and 1 tiny bit of spotting this weekend, so just know that bleeding can be very normal. Drink lots of water and rest until you go in. they will ask lots of questions, probably do an ultrasound. if everythign is going well, you'll see a heartbeat and everything will look good. positive thoughts and vibes for you here!

I am between 7 and 8 weeks. I am heading to the dr. in like 15-20 (depending how fast my sister can get here)...I am just scared. Everything was so peachy keen with my other two (besides delivery: )

please update us asap!! but as long as you don't bleed enough to soak up a pad within 1 hour i ssay youre ok!!
im the queen of bleeding while preggo. brown and bright red as well. all will be well!!!

At around 6 1/2 week they usually can see a heartbeat. So an u/s at this point would really be helpful. I'll be thinking sticky baby thought for you.

Just got back in...

Things are not looking good.

My regular doctor was not there and the dr. on call told me to call and make a follow up appt. with my dr. in the morning but according to the u/s, things aren't going as they should.

I am taking that as the babe is not growing or I am miscarrying. I am still lightly bleeding.

The u/s showed a ges. sac but nothing else. The tech. really didn't tell me much other than it looks like a really early pregnancy.

Why can't they just be upfront...

I guess I will call my dr. in the am but as it sits, it doesn't look hopeful:

momma. i'm sorry for all the stress and i HATE when the u/s techs are all sneaky about stuff, especially making you wait until the following day. that's nuts. supposedly its because they aren't supposed to interpret it, the doctor is, but if they told you they saw only a sac that leaves you to interpret anyway.

if you are sure about your dates, then unfortunately i agree with your interpretation that it isn't looking good (at 7-8 wks there should be embryo with heartbeat). the purpose of the doc visit tomorrow is probably to make sure about your dates and schedule a follow up to check your hcg levels return to normal.

take good care of yourself. maybe the doctor tomorrow will have some encouraging news...

Thank for the additonal information. It is not what I want to hear but at least it is honest. They did check my levels tonight but no one said anything about them?

Hugs. Keep us posted. I've been having issues myself... An ER visit and then my hcg level did double, but here and there I've still had spotting. I *think* and my midwife does as well, that it's just a ruptured cyst. We'll see tomorrow, I have another ultrasound.

I hope everything turns out good for you!

(Doesn't it seem like they're have been a lot of mamas having spotting this month?!)
