Please explain to me how?
I am not using it ON the carseat itself nor is it influencing how the seatbelt is positioned.
I really would like to understand.
When DD was in the NICU they showed me how to use it properly to maintain her airway and not compromise the seatbelt.

If it really is very unsafe I need to know.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure that someone here has explained the whole deal before; I'll do a search. If not, dallaschildren is a carseat guru and she can no doubt explain it all wicked clearly.

Things I want and/or need:

A double stroller (probably a Phil & Ted's)
2 car seats (one for baby in my car & DH's car). Just 1 will work to start since we have DS's infant seat.
an Ergo carrier

and either:
LOTS of baby girl clothes (if this one surprises us and turns out to be a girl---looked like a boy on the 12 week ultrasound)

Or
nothing else for a boy....ever
We have everyting a little boy could ever need.

Right after I found out about this pregnancy, I saw a person selling 24 small Fuzzi Bunz (which we love) w/ 35 inserts for $200 on Craigslist. They are in *perfect* shape, so we are all set w/ dipes, too.

Anything that comes WITH the car seat is OK, the seat was tested with those items. Aftermarkets are a no-no. However, Graco I believe is the only company that has tested their aftermarkets with their car seats, IIRC, making their aftermarket products safe with their seats.
