How much weight does everyone have to lose?

Turns out I gained a total of - eeek! - 56 lbs this pregnancy! I've lost 25.5 lbs so far, leaving me with 30.5. I gained 40 lbs with ds1 and had lost it all by 5 weeks postpartum. Eh, not happening this time, even with tandem nursing.

Anyone else care to share?

We're in the same boat. I gained 46 and have 30 to go! I joined Weight Watchers nursing moms program and lost 5 in the first week. So, I'm optimistic. Last time, it took me a year to get all of the weight off. I am NOT going to do that again. I can't afford the transition clothes. Well, it's more like I refuse to buy them. I'll dig through storage for my fat girl clothes (pardon the expression) before I spend any money on a bigger size.

Let's hope tandem nursing does help. I've got that going on as well!

For the twins, I gained about 45 and had to work hard to get that much. I've lost 20 and don't really care about losing it right now. I need all of those slim fat stores to help produce breastmilk for 2!

I gained 24, but I started out about 30 pounds overweight with this pregnancy. I've lost about 20 of it (hard to tell w/BF). I was able to wear my prepregnancy jeans today! (I'm 5 weeks postpartum).

I may have to join WW too. I've done it in the past. & next week I'll probably get the go ahead to DTD and exercise, so hopefully everything will keep coming off.

I gained 29 with twins and like MamaRabbit that was hard gained weight! I'm down 38 lbs at 2 weeks postpartum. Back into my pre-pregnancy jeans. I'm still 10 lbs above where I was when I got pregnant in 2005, and 15 lbs above where I'd like to be 'ideally'. So...that leaves me 25 lbs to lose before Spring when we TTC our own little bundle!

I gained 24kg something like that, I think that's like 50lbs!!! That's heaps!

I gained 32 pounds. So far I've lost 21. I think that sounds great and I keep telling myself not to worry but I do. I can wear a few jeans (the stretchier ones with bigger waist) but none of my shorts or capri pants. I also can't wear many shirts but that's because of these boobs! Yikes.
Anyway I am worried that the last bit of weight will be more difficult
I hope to be into ALL my clothes by the time I go back to work (Nov 5).

I'm already below my pre-pregnancy weight, but I can't fit into any of my pants yet. My tummy is still so big and flabby from having a csection that it is going to be a while. I can wear all of my pre-pregnancy shirts though.

I gained 28lbs and have about 14lbs to lose. I haven't tried on any prepregnancy pants/shorts yet because I'm too lazy to dig them out. I can fit my old shirts though, but now I look HOT because I have big boobs!

I stopped looking when they'd weigh me at my prenatal visits after I topped 150lbs. so I'm not sure how much I gained total. I also haven't weighed myself since I gave birth... but that was only 5 days ago. I'll check it out soon enough I guess. For now I look like a barrel with stick arms and legs.

I gained around 50 and have lost 40 so far. I was surprised I've lost so much! I can almost fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes! Of course, I wasn't at my ideal weight pre-pregnancy, so I'd like to lose another 20-30 pounds but that'll come later.

I am 3 weeks PP, and I am now 134lbs.

Pre-pregnancy I was 117. At the end of pregnancy I was 167.

My arms and legs and face seemed to return to their normal size within a few days of the birth. My belly is lingering.

I expect to end up a few lbs heavier than I started simply due to the increase in breasts. They are MUCH bigger.

I don't know what I weighed at the end I stopped weighing myself. I started at 215 and the last time I weighed myself I was 240. Yesterday I was 222. So baby weight only 7 lbs but overall weight is a different story

With DD even when I got below my PP weight my clothes never fit the same. It is worse this time with Quinlan. I am definitly a deflated balloon.

I gained 9, I'm down 20. I was back in pre-preg pants at 1 week pp.

I have about 20 pounds to get to my prepregnancy weight, but am on ww, and lost 11 pounds last week, I know a lot of that was water weight because my swelling is gone, but I have about 125 or more to loose altogether, so, I am in it for the long haul....

I have no idea what I weighed when I got pregnant. Add in my standard first trimester loss and my total gain is a guess. From what I can figure out though I gained 25-30 and have 10-15 to go. I'm 1 week pp.

ETA: 5 weeks pp and only have 5 to go...ideally I'd like 10.
