Lack of Sleep... - Page 2

: I feel your pain. We have some good nights, but most nights my baby is colicky and I get little sleep. It sucks, but I know it will pass.

Swaddling does wonders for the flailing fists. I love having the miracle blanket.

We can't do nursing in bed either. Sitting up in bed for any length of time makes my butt hurt. Side lying he can't seem to get the hang of the neck angle (he has complete control over his own head and neck and refuses to let me adjust it for him), so it is hard for him to swallow properly and he gets frustrated.

He's gaining so much weight- 14 oz over his birth weight at 2 weeks.
Oh, are you and I still in synch? Mine gained 14 ozs in 2 weeks too.

HTH, and that you sleep well tonight!
I do that too!! my babe mostly doesn't need to be burped, but once in a while when nursing doesn't work, this is what we do.

you'll get the hang of it mama!! hang in there. I agree about the swaddling thing. you have to get their arms in there really snug, but it totally helps.
