Ok, I know I've built somewhat of a reputation for having the oldest Snappis in existence ... But I come here today to break the solemn news to you all: After 9.5 years of hard use, the first of my three Snappis has finally developed one side that no longer stretches.

May it rest in peace.

Rest in peace, dear Snappi.

You know - I was just asking Meghan about this today - their site says average life is like 6 months! :

I thought - surely they last longer than that!! Now I guess I have my answer!

I ponder two questions this evening as I stalk in somber thought from the grave:

(1). Where do I find cheap snappis with reasonable (i.e., not full price for a pound or so) shipping?

(2). Where do I find snappis at the same place as other luscious items I will not be able to reasonably deny myself of in order to make a decent-sized order?

I have found that snappis can resist even the worse of tortures....its already been two times that ive washed and dried my snappi(not purposely of course) and they actually hold up in those hight heats ..im not mistreating them

try www.naturalbabies.com for low shipping. She only charges $1 to ship snappis & is great.

ok, well I want to know how much you paid for them back then?

A snappi can fit in an envelope for the cost of a postage stamp . . . I would imagine any WAHM has an envelope and a postage stamp on hand.

... and in an exciting new development, I've now ordered two o' them newfangled two-color froo-froo snappis.

They sure don't make 'em like they used to! :LOL

Things have changed a lot in 9.5 years :LOL

Take good care of your new ones and you could pass them on to your kids as a family heirloom

MO, they're all two colors now (a color plus the white clips). Mine are all one primary color, clips and all. Mine are bright, almost jewel tone in intensity: red, green and yellow.

Except the red is dead.
