My little girl has arrived

She was born Tuesday night the 28th, at 41 weeks. 8 lb 8 oz and 21 inches. 11 hours of labor, the last three at the hospital (planned hospital birth) and I did it completely drug and intervention free. I'm feeling pretty good about that because I caved with my son and had the epidural.

We left the hospital the next morning, and she doesn't have a name yet.

Congrats! Did they fuss about you leaving the hospital w/o naming her?

Woo Hoo!! : to your little unnamed darling. Are you our only full moon birther? I haven't checked the birth sticky today. Congratulations on overcoming the hospital pitfalls. to you

Nope, the lady who does the Birth Cert stuff wants us to come in by Monday, but my DP was like, "what are they gonna do? Fill in their own name?" I'm guessing we'll come up with a name by then though anyway.

Oh absolutely. My contractions started at 10:30 am, and that's right when the full moon peaked on Tuesday here PST.

I wanted to say congrats and I am glad you went totally natural. like you, this is my first i.v., epidural free birth. Its such a great acomplishment isnt it? Enjoy that sweet little girl, I cant wait to hear her name. oh and we left the hospital with kharsons birth cert not complete because we could not decide on a middle name and in the end ended up not having one because we couldent decide lol
