I'm still here too, but my EDD was only yesterday. I REALLY wanted an August baby though. I hope our babies decide that they'd be much more comfy outside of our bodies soon. Good luck with the waiting.

I'm still here too...my EDD was yesterday as well. My 40w midwife appointment is today so we shall see if anything is going on down there or not. Last week I was 2cm, 50-75% effaced, baby was WAY down low, and she stripped my membranes. Obviously this little guy wasn't ready though! I'll have her strip again today and hope for the best.

I'm 40w 5days too.....I've not even had my dilation or effacment checked because I'm scared that they'll say I clammed up completly.
I have my next MW visit on tuesday - and we are going to discuss different homepathic options for helping the babe along...But, until then I'm drinking the Rasberry Leaf, and am picking up some primrose oil tonight.
The thing I'm nost anxious about now is that if we go OVER 42 weeks I'm then not eligible to birth at the birthing center....but, will have to be in the hospital.
I know he's running out of room in there....I just can't wait to gaze into his eyes and tell him how much I love him.
Come on babies!

Well after two weeks of labor, I am still here. Due August 29, so just now 40 weeks, 2 days. I was hoping for an august baby too, but he will be here when he is ready, I guess.
Last Tuesday, I was 4 cm, about 50% effaced, and with all the contractions I have had since, I am surprised I am still pregnant, plus that is when I lost my mucus plug.
Hopefully soon!
Good luck to everyone!

Totally there with you... My babe was "due" August 20th... I feel like I'm going crazy at this point. Gonna do some acupressure tonight and EPO, too. (Maybe some jumping jacks?...
)
Weren't you guys just SURE that the full moon on the 28th would help out a little?

Still here! 42 weeks today. Baby passed non-stress test with flying colors and 5 on amiotic fluid levels (passing grade). Back-up OB isn't comfortable going longer. Home birth midwife needs to maintain good relationship with him. I've tried castor oil twice and membrane stripping twice, as well as breast pumping (I've got colostrum for sure!) To no avail in bringing on labor though.
So... hospital induction tomorrow night 8pm with cervidil, unless the sex tonight, yoga tomorrow morning, and a bit more pumping and walking have any effect. Fingers crossed, but definitely a September baby either way. (I thought I was just buying time by telling people labor day instead of August 17th!! Must have jinxed myself!)
Good luck to everyone! Enjoy the extra time pre-baby to sleep anyway

Don't worry, baby will knnow when the perfect time to come is (and so will our bodies)!! We just need to surrender to and trust nature.

Yup, me too. 41 weeks today. I'm still not overly anxious, but feel that by mid-week I will be. I feel empathy for dh though. He works in the restaurant business and his customers ask him every day (the drunk ones 3X a day) whether or not he's had that baby yet. Of course, they've been asking him since I was 38 weeks so they've finally started messing with him. "You told us any day now weeks ago." Poor guy. I was the one who was so adamant that we don't have a due date and here, he's the one getting the rap for it. He says he wasn't smart enough this time, but if there's a next time he's definitely pushing the date back a week or two.
