Ok, so I eat paleo and low-carb, which means that all the recipes I make are by default GFCF, other CF, and also low(ish) carb (hey it's a holiday ). Here is what I am thinking of doing.
~turkey w/sausage apple stuffing* OR turkey stuffed w/shredded apples and wrapped in bacon
~green beans almandine
~huge green salad w/lots of nice colorful veggies and some dried cranberries - dressing will be homemade EVOO/lemon juice based
~roasted root veggies (or root veggie mash w/coconut oil and chicken stock)
~cranberry sauce using orange juice as the sweetener
~for dessert, pumpkin pudding made with coconut milk (no crust) and some whipped cream on the side for other people
~also for dessert, baked spiced apples and mulled wine
~if I get really motivated, coconut milk ice cream to go with the apples
~cornbread, which I make for everyone else but which I don't eat myself
OH! And of course there will be appetizers. Crudites with baba ghanoush and pate, and a sausage plate, is all I have planned at the moment, but I'm sure there'll be more. I inherited a tendency to go overboard with food from my dad and I'll probably make wayyyy too much.
