Thigh labor?

Anyone else having thigh pain? Whenever I have a contraction a get cramp like pains down my inner thighs.

WIth my first dc I had horrible back labor, with #3 I had horrible, stabbing lower abdominal pains instead of "normal" contractions, and now it looks like I will be treated to "thigh labor". Whoo hoo!

My mom had this with all her labors. I had it with one of my m/c's and I have been having it every time I get contractions this time. I am hoping it won't be too bad in labor. I am so glad I got a birth pool. I hope it eases up for you. I find it worse than the back labor with my first.

I've been having these shooting pains down my inner thighs too (usually my right one, actually) but I haven't been able to coordinate them with contractions - maybe I'll pay closer attention

I feel pains down both legs when the babe tries to move her head but she is engaged. Apparently it is caused by the baby hitting the sciatic nerve from what my Dr. tells me.

I get these too. But only on my right side. Right where my thigh meets my body and it shoots down.My sister got them too. I think it is b/c the baby is sitting on some nerves. I haven't noticed them co-ordinating with BH either.

It usually is just on the left side but the past couple of days it has been on both sides. Real fun when you are trying to walk up or down stairs...

I seem to have had these on and off. They come with BH for me, the only real problem that I've run into is having them while driving........um, not safe!
