Pattern for Grateful Buns style recycled short/longies?

I love these, esp the 2-layer body, but it doesn't seem like she's making them anymore...
Anyone know of a pattern for these or similar?

Looking for nb/sm and cannot afford to buy right now... :-(

Got 3 nice pairs on another board but was hoping to learn to make them for myself - they're deceptively simple-looking.

In fact, I noticed in the sticky the pattern for the "no elastic fleece pull-up" (here) is quite similar... maybe I will try one in fleece and then attempt it with a couple of used sweaters...
