Witch hazel is good.

Preparation H is good.

I swear by a homeopathic tincture for hemorrhoids.

Can you gently push it back in in the tub or shower?

Since you are probably a tiny but raw from all the diarrhea I suggest using some Lansanoh or Vaseline on your clean bottom as a barrier between your sensitive skin and any more diarrhea and wiping.

Can you use a hand help sprayer in the shower to "wipe" instead of irritating TP?

That's all I can think of at this late hour. I hope you feel better soon.

thanks so much!

i'm gonna try pushing it back in in the shower today.

lasinoh is a great idea.

i got some aloe wipes yesterday that are gentler than t-p so that i don't irritate it more.

as far as witch hazel goes... do i just dab it on or what?

I always just try to push them back in and am normally succesfull. Then I soak a cotton ball with witch hazel and put it right up against it between my cheeks for 3-4 hours.

If it's really bad I will use Anusol (sp?). You can get it at any drug store.

I get cheap hemorrhoid pads from Target. They are just little pads that are soaked in witch hazel. I use them at the end of wiping and it really keeps my hemorrhoid feeling better. I also make sure to eat plenty of fiber foods as that seems to help keep them at bay too. If it is outside you might want to push it back in gently.

ok ladies. i am dying here. this baby dropped SOOOO low on friday that it's putting tons of pressure on my tush. i had one H from my first and i got another from laboring for like 8 hrs on the toilet ( i know now smart!) with my 3rd.

OH MY GOSH. my tush is soooooo irritated right now i cannot stand it. i am using wipes and cream and it is NOT helping at all. it's worse when i stand

i don't know how much longer i can stand this. ACK!!! laying down is the only position that i have any relief in.................................

this is TMI I know, but I had to call my M/W yesterday because mine have recently gotten SO bad (internal & accompanied with bleeding) and I'm to use the OTC suppositories until my home visit on Wednesday, if they're not cleared up by then I have to go to something RX (NOOOOOOOOO!!!!)

Ugh...I have been plagued with H this entire pg. : I have been using Prep H. I did buy some stuff (natural oils) that are supposed to make them disappear but it's a 3-6 week treatment so I opted to start it after I deliver as I am quite sure I will end up with more at delivery. :

Ice! Like, frozen bags of veggies, or flexible ice packs.

the witch hazel on a cotton square is wondiferous! that and using a baby wipe instead of toilet paper. both have helped in the past two days.

This might sound totally crazy, but I've had one H since DS was born (got it around 18 weeks, it's been with me since). It's never been painful or hurting. I notice as I wiped that I now have 2. I guess this baby wanted to contribute as well. Neither are painful or irritated, and I'm pretty sure I'll get more duing pushing, but in the past I've tried to "push" the one back in and never been able to do it. Is there a secret? Where/how do you push?

So sorry if this is TMI...
