Well, my house is CLEAN! I nested today!

Tons of BH's for the past couple of days and about 2pm today I got the urge to clean and I cleaned from one end of my house to the other. All bedding was washed, clothes washed up, floors swept & mopped, bathrooms cleaned, everything was dusted, bags and bags of trash went out today as it was like spring cleaning. Now I am just exhausted from all the cleaning! I am scheduled for an induction next Friday the 7th, not sure if I will make it. Last Thursday I was 0 station, 80% effaced and 2cm dilated. Wonder how much changed today with all the walking?!!

Anyone else nesting???

We cleaned the dining room, kitchen & livingroom today...de-cluttered the computer desk and organized alot, but I really didn't have the urge or the energy to do it... I knew I had too though and my mother motivated me! HAHA Other than that, hoping nesting kicks in again (like it had a little last week) before babe comes, because I have my closet, bedroom, bathroom, packing boxes & furniture to move within the next week. But I'm working 9 hour days next week so by the time I get home I am POOPED. Hopefully tomorrow (labor day) I get more done!

Awesome! Nesting is finally striking here, too. I'm officially due Oct 3, so 35.5 wks now, but my house NEEDS several weeks of nesting to be ready! Yesterday I ended up working on four different rooms, some significantly, and got out birthing supplies, etc. Can't wait to have it ALL DONE!!

I've been nesting for 3 weeks, but today I cleaned the carpets, and the bathroom. Tomorrow I plan to clean the walls. I do'nt think its going to do me any good though. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

I was going to post about this myself. I seriously thought I was going to put myself into labor last night. I was doing some manic cleaning yesterday - decluttered and cleaned out the entire downstairs (kitchen and living room), fully washed one bathroom, did about 4-5 loads of laundry... and walked the dogs for 2 miles.... I had some brown tinged mucus at some point in the day and just constant BH ctxs so I thought I was going to go into labor last night... no such luck.

Well, I got MYSELF all purdy yesterday - face mask, mini pedicure, bath, shaved legs. I was going to paint my toenails (something I have not done since before I got pregnant because of chemials/fumes etc) but I didn't. Maybe today.

DH, on the other hand, seems to be the one who is nesting. I think it finally hit him that a baby is on the way. He did a major cleaning downstairs, and even looked through the baby name book again!
