Oh, he is adorable!!! Great photos!!

The bath towel thing might not be such a bad idea...seriously!!

Hey, bath towels work great! I actually used one when my water broke (both times!) I just put it on diaper style, and used dh's belt to secure it, and I was good to go! A bit funny looking, but it worked!

my dh sez

put the toddler cpf in a receiving blanket to get the extra width you need. He is a handsome boy, BTW.

Cass, I can tell your dh is the father of 6! Smart man . . . using his noggin'! THAT WOULD actually WORK!

What a good idea...the receiving blanket! I did put one in a wrap once and it worked pretty well, lol!

Thanks Ladies..you're all so sweet

I'm thinking another solution to your problems could be as easy as having a wahm add some extra fabric to the sides of the diapers where you need more fabric for pinning. sorry all, I am very, very new here, always lurking. So if my posting is weird someone tell me! LOL :

Thats a great idea, to just add on some extra fabric, also for covers Im sure a wahms can make pull on covers which would be great for you...you wouldnt have to worry about the velcro scratching him.

Hi everyone..sorry I didn't reply before now. It's been a busy weekend, lol!

Anyhow.. I really appreciate all the ideas and suggestions. I think the one of using the receiving blanket and the CPF is a great idea! I haven't done it yet but I have used a receiving blanket in a wrap. I just got out more receiving blankets but I need to wash them and get out the fabric softener.

Right now.. I'm just waiting for my XL and XXL Bummis to arrive along w/ the special order=special size FB. I did order an Aristocrat too so once I get everything we should be ok

My son is getting a lot of nekkid time around the house..hehehe and at night I use on of the FB's that Thereson sent (She made some large ones but they're still a little on the small side).

Thanks for all the sweet comments on my son's pictures too

I had a thought: Flatfold diapers! I have some from One Stop Diaper Shop that are 36" square. You might have to lay a trifolded CPF in there for more absorbancy, but they'd probably fit on!

You could even make your own by buying birdseye cotton and hemming yards. I've seen it at JoAnn's Fabrics.

Love the Plumber's Bum picture!
