My dd has not gone to school for about 1 year and half she went to register last Friday all on her own but when she got there they said she has to get lestted to see what level shes at,and after she does she can come back to register
But I have no clue where to take her or send her to get tested??
Shes 16 and we live in Toronto

Hi mama, I'm about an hour north of you.

I'm not sure where you go; but here are some idea's. Call one of the colleges, speak to someone at the administrations/information desk and see if they have any suggestions. I'm pretty sure you take your GED at a college, so you may have level testing through them.

If you don't get answers there, you could always call the school board. Or even the office at the school she wants to register at.

If that doesn't work, do the 1-800-O'CANADA thing and ask them (if it's a provincial issue, they'll give you the number for the Provincial Inquiry office ...which is 877-817-6636 for Ontario)
