I am 18 weeks pregnant with my first baby, and loving it! I had been browsing thenest.com's boards, but I heard there were a lot more natural mommas over here so I thought I would check it out. Looking forward to some good conversations and learning a lot!

welcome!! Circ stands for circumcision. There is a board on here called "the case against circumcision". I wish I had known this site existed and had done some research before I had my kids. It would have really made a difference for us. Good luck with everything! This is a wonderful website and I'm sure you'll get a ton of information and support here.

(Most people here feel that circumcision is a human rights violation...it is the boy's body, not the parents', and circumcision is painful cosmetic surgery usually performed on an unconsenting minor. Definitely check out the stickies on the circ forum.)

And check out the Due Date Clubs too! I've met some fabulous mamas that way. :

The cloth diapering and vax boards sound good too... we're pretty much decided on those (for the diapers, against the vax ) but it's always so nice to find other people who don't think I'm crazy for it!
