I'm looking at getting a Dyson (by Christmas - that's my goal!), but I've overwhelmed by all the choices. At first I thought you just picked a color you liked,
but then I realized that the different colors are different prices. So then I assumed that the higher priced ones must be stronger or more special... but I just read at epinions that actually you're just paying more for accessories.
:
So now I have to figure out what accessories are important to me. But I don't know. On my current Kenmore vacuum, I only use the hose with the wand - to reach cracks in the couch, and then also in my car. So, I don't really know if I would even use any of those other attachments.
I do have 2 shedding dogs, so I thought I "had" to get the animal. But then I found out the Animal just offers more accessories. Well, just because I have dogs, that doesn't mean I need more accessories, does it???
A friend of mine has a Dyson Ball. She let me borrow it, and it was very nice. She says I HAVE to get the Ball because it turns on a dime. She was right, it does make tight turns. Does the regular one not?
And what is the difference between all these: regular, Drive, Ball, etc.?
How on earth do I make this expensive decision?! Please advise!
P.S. Has anyone tried the Eureka wannabe? I forget what it's called, but the commercial makes it look like it's trying to be a Dyson.

: I'd like to know too. All I know is that this weekend I registered to win the purple one, which is supposed to be for homes with pets. I have an indoor dog and I'd love to win it!
