I hate food allergies.
Maddie is severly allergic to eggs. She can't have anything with eggs in it. Do you know how hard that is?
: She is also celiac so we eat a wheat free/gluten free diet as well. We make everything from scratch and the health food store is our best friend. Sometimes I get mad at the whole thing. I EBF her for 6 months then did solids very slowly. She weaned herself at 14 months when I got pregnant again so she had a great start nursing. But then she still has these darn allergies.
I would stay away from eating peanuts until she is not nursing anymore. I try not to eat any wheat/gluten while I am pregnant and nursing although I do slip up
. I would also look into seeing an allergist. They may not want to test her until she is a year old but I would let them be aware of the possible reaction she had already had. You may also want to avoid other types of nuts in the peanut family. I am not sure what they are but I am sure you could find the info on the web. Food allergies can be a scary thing. Hope she doesn't have anymore reactions.
