My 2.5 yo dd just poured a newly opened bottle of liquid handsoap all over my sofa and braided rug!!! I don't even know where to begin in cleaning it up.

Okay, I've basically mopped up most of the puddled soap and have tossed the cushion covers in the washing machine (pray they still fit when they're finished!!). Now I'm about to tackle the soap that's imbedded in the braided rug. Ugh.

Curious here...

I've got a bath gel stain on the boys rug that I've been working on for a year. Anyone got any ideas?

I was fortunate in that the soap she spilled was one of those dye-free Method ones. It's pretty imbedded in the rug so I ended up shifting the sofa to cover it. That'll work until the next spill and I try to move the sofa again.
