Does anyone else have a noisy baby?

This kid grunts & snorts all the time.

Anyone else have a noisy baby? It's kind of disconcerting.

Yes. Even while he is sleeping. Sometimes he will be really silent for about half an hour, and then spend the remaining time that he is sleeping making noises like that. While he is awake, he makes noises like that almost all the time.

the only time eli doesn't snort & grunt is whenhe's feeding, and then he loudly gulps and slurps. :

Yes! I'm amazed at the volume of grunting that can come out such a sweet little guy. Not to mention how loud his poops, gas and burps are!

Yup, I've even taken to calling him "Grunt Snorter". He also gasps and squeaks and moans. Awake, asleep... I tell ya, it makes it hard to figure out ECing, cause I never know what he's "signaling". He just seems to like to make noise!

Oh yeah. DS is very noisy - hard to sleep w/him around.

This is going to date me, but DH says he reminds him of Pat from SNL & Bevis & Butthead.

I was awake for about 2 hours last night wondering about this. It was so bad, DH moved to the couch to sleep and I was considering joining him. j/k We cal it "snorking" around here.

Ha ha ha!! Luna is the same way, she snorts, grunts, squeeks, moans, chortles, all that. I call her "squeeky mouse." She is especially noisy at night when we are trying to sleep. It's really very funnny, I love it. I missed those adorable newborn noises from Walden when she outgrew it. I'm glad this baby gives me plenty to enjoy!

I was all excited by the title of this thread... but my baby isn't noisy when sleeping. He could peel the paint off the walls when he's unhappy though! We aren't worried about his lungs at all!
