Contains NO Aluminum Chlorohydrate.
Is Alum Safe to Use?
Will it reduce my Perspiration?
How Should I Use it for Best Results?

Body Odor
If you are one of those people who believe that body odor comes from perspiring, you are only partially correct. Body odor is actually a byproduct of the perspiration coming into contact with the bacteria on your skin. Eliminate one or the other and you have eliminated body odor. However, it is not healthy to try to stop your body from perspiring. Your body regulates its temperature through perspiration and eliminates a small fraction of toxins that you come in contact with on a daily basis. Eliminating the bacteria from this equation is obviously the healthier choice.

Mineral Salts
This deodorant stone is made of 100% natural mineral salts. How is that different? Most deodorants on the market are made of chemicals formulated in laboratories - non-natural, unhealthy chemicals that can be very harsh to your system.

Crystal Body Deodorants contain no perfumes, chemicals, dyes or parabens and will not stain clothing.

How Does it Work?
The Crystal deodorants are composed of mineral salts which form a topical layer on the skin, creating an environment impossible for bacteria to thrive. They eliminate the odor-causing bacteria and therefore prevent body odor.

How is that different from mainstream deodorants? Most deodorants mask body odor with a perfumed scent, contain alcohol to shrink pores, or aluminum chlorohydrate/aluminum zirconium. These compounds enter the pores and physically block or clog them to reduce the flow of perspiration. In essence, they inhibit the body's natural expulsion of toxins.

Additional Benefits
Crystal Body Deodorants are completely topical and hypoallergenic. They are also fragrance-free, non-sticky, and will not stain or otherwise adversely affect your clothing (even the most delicate such as silk). They leave no white flakes or residue on the skin. They are Environmentally Safe and easy to use.

Contains NO Aluminum Chlorohydrate.

Crystal products were rated #1 by the Environmental Working Group in a safety assessment test of ingredients used in all deodorants!

Is Alum Safe to Use?
Yes, alum is safe to use. In fact, many health professionals recommend these products. Alum is made up of a variety of mineral salts which, when combined, form an entirely new mineral compound. The molecules of alum are too large to be absorbed into the skin.

Recommended by Cancer Treatment Centers Nationwide.

Will this Reduce my Perspiration?
These deodorants are just that - deodorants. They are not anti-perspirants. Your body will still be allowed to expel toxins naturally through perspiration; you simply won't have any of the accompanying odors.

How Should I Use it for Best Results?
These deodorants should be applied to clean skin directly after bathing. In this way, the bacteria that causes odor has not yet had the chance to form on the skin, and therefore, the preventive barrier that the deodorant provides is at its peak effectiveness.

Directions: Moisten the stick and rock prior to usage.

Caution: Do not leave solids on marble or granite.

These deodorants are just that - deodorants. They are not anti-perspirants.
Alum is antiperspirant.

Are you sure about that? Because my crystal doesn't prevent me from perspiring

Look back at the statement and you'll see that nowhere does it say the crystal contains alum! I'm guessing that it does, but maybe not enough to reduce sweating. Antiperspirants in general reduce odor far more than they do the volume of sweat anyway.

I've tried crystals a couple of times. I always end up with a rash after a couple of weeks (maybe this time I'll remember that and not buy another one in a couple of years).

It sounds like it's working for you though and that's great.

A lot of people experience a rash (like myself) when using the crystal stone or stick because you have to apply this type of deodorant liberally (at least 15-20 strokes) for it to be effective and the salts can irritate the skin if rubbed in too hard.

I recommend using either the crystal roll-on (gel) or spray (liquid) which doesn't require the same application. I switched to the brand Crystal Body roll-on and have never experienced a rash or other skin irritations.
