How long can you have bloody show before labor?
I checked myself last evening and was a fingertip. Checked this morning and was a tiny bit more.

Tonight I have had what looks like it may be tiny specks of plug and the discharge is kinda brownish. I'm assuming it's show?
I have period cramps right now.

My next OB appt is thursday.

I'm not dure for a few more weeks and DH is in the process of changing jobs so it's nota great time.
ARGH.

Would they stop laqbor or give me steroids for his lungs at 36.3 weeks???

True bloody show generally (not a hard and fast rule) means it'll happen within 24-48 hours.

FWIW I had bloody show on the 21st (all day) and a baby on the 23rd.

I agree. I'm pretty sure that if it's bloody show, and not the mucous plug that labor is soon as in now. Mucous plug on the other hand can still mean days up to weeks...

OK, well I just finished my evening long job of washing all the platters and knick knacks on top of the cupboard bulkhead. Along with washing the yucky dirty bulkhead itself. UGH! Must do that more often.
This in itself is not unusual-I've been nesting since week 14.

What is wierd is our dog. He usually always ignores me unless I have food-and no-I haven't been rolling in bacon -so his lovey doveyness is wierd. Now he won't let me out of his sight. He's following me around the house like a shaddow-nomore than 5 feet away at any time. THAT is very strange.
The show-or whatever has slowed though still have period cramps.
I'm very confused.

Hiya mama..

I was having contractions since 35wks (prodromal labor).. I went to L&D, as I was too concerned about if they needed to "stop" labor or give me the cerflaxin?..

I was told after you meet 35 wks, they don't stop or give steriods.. Not sure if it's different for your area..
