Haven't DTD yet only really because we have a 3 year old that we co-sleep with (as well as the baby) and we're currently staying with my father so we have nowhere to do it! When we are finally able to, Im not worried about it. Didn't tear at all and I'll be 6 weeks PP on Monday. And even though I exclusively breastfeed I am absolutely paranoid about pregnancy and I don't get my IUD inserted until the 29th.

I also want this babe to have other ways to fall asleep then at the boob. It worked out okay with my first son as I really had the time to nurse him to sleep, but it left me drained (no pun intended) sometimes. As well no one else could ever put him to sleep. I dunno, I just think it's wise for my family to have a baby that can fall asleep in other ways, possibly for other ppl, (well really only dh).
Things are good with little Wyatt. Sorry I haven't ever posted pictures, but I'm feeling to lazy to deal with photo bucket and I really don't like pics of my family to be somewhere online that other ppl can get to and steal. It just wierds me out. BUt anyways, Wyatt never lost any weight so that's good. He seems to just be a very easy baby. We have had some times of crying and scrunching up his little legs and lots of gas and a gurgling belly and so I'm starting to wonder if he has an allergy to something. My first son is allergic to dairy so I am on the lookout for the same thing. I haven't made any decisions yet, but I'm so hoping that's not it. It's such a pain.

As far as DTD, I am no where near that, but last time I was horny as I'll get out by a couple weeks pp It was odd. But we DTD at prob. 4 weeks and this was after an all natural vag. delivery and it was no prob. Just took it slow and I don't remember it hurting at all. So good luck to those ready for it! I'm sure you dh's will be happy happy happy!!

My first son would only fall asleep while nursing, and it used to drive me crazy. Sean, luckily, will fall asleep while we just hold him, which I take as a good sign since my first boy never would even do that. We also let Sean have a pacifier, which my other 2 didn't have. I'm with you on not wanting him to get dependent on nursing to sleep only.

i've been passing babe off to DH to get her to sleep and it works like a charm but i did order pacis online that we used to use and really liked because i too need this babe to be able to suck on something in the car. i have to do a lot of driving during the day, on top of watching after the kids at home, so, i can't just sit and let the babe use me as a paci. i feel badly, but it's just the way it goes with #4 LOL.

Dh and i have been able to DTD one time in the past 5 weeks. i am just SOOO tired at night and i am SOOOOOOOO incredibly touched out it's not even funny. i cannot stand to have ANYONE even stand near me right now. and on top of that it's HOT here for oct. 80s and 90s and our air conditioning stinks, and it's hot nursing a babe and having a babe sleeping touching me, etc.

on top of parenting, this week and last week we had home work done. we had our kitchen counters replaced and then this week we had the entire first story of our house refloored with hardwood. it was a little insane and i have TONS of clean up work now. the craziest thing, the babe slept through the insanely LOUD noises!!!!! it was massive noise pollution and she slept through it all.

that is how I got pg w/ this baby.. A little embaressing to think about getting pg while staying w/ my FIL..

Wehad severeal hundred square feet of hardwood put in the house in August. I totally understand the noise pollution.

I so want to post more but I am being called by a little one....

I got pregnant with dd1 at my mom's house....Dp and I had been to a wedding that night on the other side of the state and even though my house was only another 30 minute drive...all the champagne started to hit so we just went to her house.....

As for my little guy, he's now 12lbs 3oz. He's known at his pediatrician's as The Chow Hound. The odd thing is that he's only grown an inch since he was born but he's growing sideways. Is anyone else's kid doing this?

Yes I dont know what he weighs now, but he was up two pounds at his 2 week appt and only 1/2"

Yeah no dtd here either especially after the dream I had last night. I dreamt that when Liam was 3 months old, I somehow managed to give birth again to a boy who looked exactly like him but with reddish hair and freckles

We got some great news as far as a job goes. Andrew was offered a national guard position doing recruiting here in the town we live, included in his 2nd LT pay is a housing allowance as well which is GREAT. The position lasts until September 1st, after which he would have to reapply for the position. He would also have the opportunity to go to officer schooling and get an active duty position if any seats are left. I'm just glad he had the contacts in order to get this position otherwise we would have been SOL. I started looking at houses today since we'll be moving January 1st, some pretty good prospects to call about tomorrow.

My 6 week checkup is wednesday so we'll see how much more Liam has grown, I'm thinking he's somewhere over 11lbs but probably more since he always shocks me with his weight gain. He's already in 3 month clothes!

We dtd once at 3 wks PP, & it was pretty nice... but I'm terrified of getting pg again! I've already had EWCM and w/my first pg I got AF back at 8weeks PP even tho dd was EBF.
I don't know what to do for BC, the only option seems charting to avoid but I don't want to be slave to the basal thermometer, I did that for so long when I was TTC.
