Heroes Season 2

Okay, I think we need a new thread for this season. It starts in three weeks. Shall we start discussing it??? With the nature of the series, I have to admit, I am a bit nervous about them being able to keep up the interest, but I'm willing to give it a shot! I was very disappointed that they had Sylar alive at the end of the last episode - I mean - come on! Dh and I are anxiously awaiting the new season.

Do you ever see people IRL, who look like Sylar? I saw one yesterday!

I hope so! Or I'd better run out and get that Tivo soon! With my kids, there's no way we can watch it when it comes on tv.

well i think Sylar is hot and i am so excited about him playing Spock!!!

am half way thtough season 1 with netflix, should finish this week - wanted to get in the groove before season 2 starts, especially because "veronica mars" is going to be a new character for a handful of episodes. but since watching the show i like it just because - great show! have rec. to a bunch of people all ready!!

I can't get on board with the hot statement, but I do think he'll make a great Spock!

I vaguely remember the Sylar was lying dead on the street, but then we saw that there was a trail of blood leading to a manhole, like someone had been dragged down into the sewers...

Actually I was relieved he wasn't dead, simply because I thought he was such a great character and there was so much of the plot invested in him. Don't get me wrong, I think he's awful! But when it looked like he was dead I thought, "Aw man, it's too soon! He deserves at least a few more episodes."

Yup, I'm looking forward to thoroughly dissecting Heroes with you all again!

I'm still really disappointed with last years ending. But looking forward to this season. I read or watched something the other day that said they were gonna have something where the public can vote for new characters and vote on their powers. Might be a good idea but I think it could ruin the show.

Totally agreed! I'll give it a chance, but I don't like the idea of voting for characters. Heroes doesn't seem like that kind of show.

They lost in the ratings after the break in season one, so in order to keep that from happening again, they are doing a 30 minute show that will air during the hiatus that will introduce independent, individual story lines of people first coming into their powers. The audience will be able to vote for their favorite, and the character with the most votes will be written into the plot of the main show when it returns from hiatus.

That is to my understanding, of course!

Oooh, I hadn't heard that, he looks like he'd be a good spock.

DH and I didn't watch the series from the start, we actually rented all the season 1 DVDs this week and are catching up, I think we are a little more than halfway through but now he is asleep passed out frm white russians, so when he wakes up I'll go in there and watch some more.



I think I watch too much TV. I thought it would only be Lost and Prison Break this fall, but it looks like now I've got another show to put on my list

My husband and I watched Heroes from the beginning, but byt hte last two shows, for some reason, I lost interest.

I'd like a recap, if possible...

also if you have itunes a great podcast is The Tenth Wonder, lots of great Heroes news and spoilers.

As for me, I am counting down the moments. I have spent the summer reading the online novels, they gave a lot of background info on some of the characters and some possible hints for some future characters.

Can't wait to meet the Boogie man.
