What number pregnancy is this for you? 3. This was quick and unexpected. We had a vas reversal in June, so expected it to take longer to get pg.

What kind of birth would you like? This is one of the few areas where I will differ significantly. We will be having a hospital birth. But I have a great doc that doesn't push anything at all, so that helps.

What number pregnancy is this for you? 4. I had two early M/Cs before DD. Then DD. And now this pregnancy.

What number child will this be for you? 2

What kind of birth would you like? I would LOVE a homebirth or a water birth or anything not at our hospital. But there are no midwives here and my insurance will not cover one even if we could get one So I will be back with my annoying birth plan at our hospital probably. They were not terrible for DD's birth, and I do like the OBs ok.

What do you like to do for fun? I like to play with my DD, go to the beach, sing, walk, cook - all that fun stuff.

What do you prefer City, Country or the Burbs? Country, as long as it's close to necessities

Country, though we live in an apartment in a small city (90k people).

I would love to be far enough from people to feel safe, but I like not having to drive 30+ minutes to get to a store

I have a jack russell back home, and I had guinea pigs here but adopted them out because I couldn't give them the attention they needed (I had no idea guinea pigs were that needy, they were my first ones: )

fun? I don't remember what that is. honestly! I used to get my jollies (and my paychecks!) performing classical and irish music and teaching music, but that was pre-kid. I do get quite a bit of enjoyment from my ds, but that's not quite the same, is it?

Raised in smaller areas, cities scare me a bit. Don't like the burbs, but they are close enough to great things in cities. Love the country, but it's often very isolating.

Do you have any pets?

Yes, I have a wonder-westie who desperately needs attention (but the mosquitoes are too ravenous for me to venture out at the moment), and a long-haired calico cat that we adopted after our beautiful long-haired tuxedo cat snuck out and disappeared about a year ago. Ds wants a bearded dragon or fish, but I'm only good with cats and dogs.

What do you prefer City, Country or the Burbs? Depends on what mood I'm in, but generally, I prefer to live in the country and visit the city. I'm "stuck" in the burbs right now, but it's not too bad...

Do you have any pets? A rat terrier and a dalmation/English setter mix. My black lab/malamute mix died in July. I would love to have cats, too, but everyone important to me is severely allergic.
