Is anyone else really feeling like thay almost wish they weren't? I totaly plan to let ds CLW, but with this pregnancy, I am too tired to be up all night with him anymore. During the day, I can handle it, but at night, its like, just go back to sleep! We actually put him in his own twin bed a few months ago, before that he was in our bed literally nursing all night, and I was getting some wicked back pain. now, DH puts him to bed (after nursing) and then during the week, he is mine if he wakes, and on the weekend he is DH's if he wakes.
When DH takes him, he goes back to sleep no problem. When I take him, he wants to nurse all night asgain, and if I get to sleep at all, I wake up in pain. And DH refuses to do more than he is doing now.
Last night, I got fed up, and brought him to bed, but didn't nurse him. I don't know if it the right thinkg to do, since he screamed for several hours.
Should I be trying to night wean him? I think it would be easier if DH would just get up and deal with him more, but his excuse is "I go to work" I keep saying, yes, and I take care od DS, the house, and my business, all at the same time, this is less than you working? but he doesn't care.
I dont know what we'lkl do when the new baby comes... I told him, he will have to deal with ds1, an he sauys sure, but the new baby isn't gonna be in our bed. which I am still arguing. those first few months I would not have slept at all if not for cosleeping.
ok, enough of my rambling... anypone else in a similar boat?

He may wake up once or twice during the night, but I rub his back and he goes right back to sleep.
