Snap Press'

My dad is looking for a good Snap Press.
Can anyone recommend?

Also, are resin the best type of snaps?
They can't break easily.. since he sells medical supplies, they would have to be strong.

TIA~~ Jodi

I would think he'd need an industrial snap press - like the ones Jessica sells www.onestopdiapershop.com I had one like this and sold it because I seldom used it.

That one was great and he can mount it to a workbench. (Very heavy duty)

Polyaceter snaps are pretty strong, but I prefer metal. Now, I'm not sure if you can use metal snaps in the snap press above (come to think of it - I don't know why you can't) but make sure to get GOOD snaps - I've had some rust.

Snapsource is a great metal snap. BUT - the snap setter is kind of a PITA - the snaps keep shifting on me before I hammer them in. So, I'd say if you can - get an industrial snap press from OSDS and metal snaps from snapsource (which Jess may sell?)

I have the snap press from Jessica and you can use the Snap Source metal snaps with it. You just need to get the correct size die set to apply the snaps.

resin snaps are a lot stronger than the plastic ones. My
resin snaps work great, but the cheaper plastic break often.
