How to get this out? DD had a field day with a jar of vaseline in my house. How do I get it out of my couch?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I would check with the manufacturer or the store you bought it from and see what they recomend using on it. If it were my sofa and it had a cotton, poly, or blend of either I would try dish detergent. Vaseline is an oil and I would think something that cuts oil would cut it.
Do you know what material it is?

Colgate's Octagon All-Purpose Bar Soap
It's the best grease cutter I've ever seen. I use it almost everyware, diapers, regular laundry, dishes and hands. It doesn't foam up much so you'll be in for a supprise.
This soap shouldn't have any problems cutting Vaseline. I'd test a spot for color fastness before using it. If that's fine, I'd soap up, blot and rince.
Good luck.
I pick up bars in the grocery store right beside all the other laundry products, sometimes its near the boxes of Borax.
