Having ctx. They're about 9 minutes apart. Trying to decide when to go to the hospital - I don't want to be there forever, but dd was born really fast (3 cm to birth in less than an hour and a half) and I really don't want to deliver on the side of the road (especially since there's no cell phone reception for the first half of the trip to the hospital.)
And, to make things more exciting, we have contractors here - they'll be pouring the foundation for our garage in a few days, and now they're doing all kinds of digging etc. The garage is going to be between the house and the road, and there is not really a way to get to the road where my car is(especially for my handicapped mom who we want to come with to watch the kids).
I'll keep you posted....

Well we started packing up and herding everyone out to the car shortly after I wrote that.
Got to the hospital about 1pm and she was born at 2:16.
Jamison Olivia
7 lbs 6oz
20 1/2 inches
all's well and we should be heading home in a couple hours.

most bizarre thing? our niece's name is olivia jameson!!! so we love your choice!
