Can someone help me with this?

I'm having a discussion about vaccines and someone posted this link, http://www.fda.gov/cber/vaccine/thimerosal.htm#tox which seems to be claiming that ethylmercury is different from methylmercury and that because of the difference, it isn't known if ethylmercury is toxic. Anyone got any gov't/medical journal links which say otherwise?

Weird approach. You keep injecting children, babies and pregnant ladies with a form of mercury because you aren't sure it is as toxic as the kind of mercury you know is toxic?

How about they prove it is really safe, first?

But vaccines are healthy, Deborah. Like vitamins. If you put mercury in a vaccine, it becomes an essential nutrient.

Oh. I didn't understand the logic. I have problems that way.: Thanks for sorting it out.

Thanks! Not quite what I was looking for, but it seems the research I wanted hasn't really been done. Better site than I'd been able to hunt down.

Yeah, even after being in childhood vaccines for 70ish years, they still don't have guidlines for what quantity of ethyl mercury is deemed "safe". :
