Something Strange....

My 5 year old has asked for a Heavy Baby like his two little sisters (ages 3 & 18 mo.) The only thing is that he wants his baby to have GREEN skin tone. Face and hands GREEN! He is very imaginative.

I emailed Joy's Waldorf Dolls, but thought I would also ask you all if you know where to get GREEN skintone material.

ummm.....maybe buy cotton tricot and dye it green.

It would be pretty cool with some darker green hair, and possibly elf clothes

I agree with PP, I'd probably buy the palest skin tone I can find and dye it.

You can find colorful well-made t-shirts at the thrift store and use that fabric. I made an emerald green waldorf doll and a golden light yellow one to represent Green Tara and Prince Siddhartha for our children's Buddhist dharma group.

You have to buy fairly good quality knit though that stretches well but not too much, has very fine knit, and it not too thin. But I found dozens of likely t-shirts. The trick is to find the color you want.
