WOO HOO!! Another RB Preview!!

Mid-July Preview:

"Slow but sure wins the race." (Aesop's fables) Any guesses as to
which loved character is on the front side? I tried a new couching
technique with the freemachine embroidery in the figure of a Japanese
woman that coordinates with the gorgeous woven cotton contour. The
sheep is making another appearance on Windpro fleece. Nefertiti has a
touch of dazzling blue and gold in her embroidered debut. Some people
think grasshoppers and centipedes are just creepy crawlies, but
toddlers are fascinated by them. Seahorses and bubbles, stars, four
leaf clovers, and beloved nursery rhyme characters can all be viewed
over the weekend at http://www.righteousbaby.com.

Store and Shipping Update:

I was hoping to change my shipping charges to reflect the actual
shipping amounts. But since I have not figured it out yet, I have
changed the policy to be more reflective of the actual shipping
charges and I think it will be much more fair now!

Oh, I am sooooooo excited! But also kind of worried because I will be out of town from Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon. I'm keeping all my parts crossed that she will list them either before I leave or after I get back. I *NEED* a RB wool set!! And I'd love to get some more of her fitteds too!

Ann's about to finish my custom order of 5 fits-like-a-glove diapers (all wovens; I bought the fabric online and had it shipped to her for "one of a kind" diapers). She was hesitant to try wovens because the fabric has very little stretch (unlike knits), so that means she needs to extend the wings on the diapers by a bit to compensate. Also, woven prints tend to be directional, which means added time and use of fabric to get them to look right as a diaper. I think she's going to charge a bit more for wovens $1 or something like that. But it seems like she's enjoyed working on my diapers and sees the value of working with wovens (lots of really great prints and generally lovely fabrics). One of the many things I like about Ann is that she's pretty fearless about trying out new things.

I'm sure the sets she will have available this weekend will be awesome. I am really tempted by what looks like a new goddess and I'll be very interested to see what her new technique looks like. And that "hey diddle diddle" set of four diapers-- I bet that will be adorable.

She is busy

with my custom order right now too and I really cannot use anymore diapers or covers or anything diaper related but I sure do want to see what she will have this weekend. How exciting! I belong to her email group but never receive the messages...........weird! Anyway good luck to all you mamas here.

i'm excited to see what they look like, i hope it's a tortoise, and not the hare, a tortoise would be cute.
the last time she posted, i just sat back and watched. it was fun to see them going,going, gone... :LOL

i hope i'm home to see it this time, i have to go to work tonight and tomorrow night, so i'll probably miss it.
