The big O in your sleep?

Maybe I'm just strange but the last time I was pregnant I had orgasms in my sleep.... They only happened for the first few weeks and then they went away....(shucks) I would wake up right at the end of it and I was sure I was making noise cause Dh would be tossing and turning beside me

Anyway, I had my first one last night....and I remember a friend of mine saying that it means you are having a boy....:
I did end up having a boy but I was wondering if anyone else experienced this strange phenomenon and if they did...was it a boy?

If this post is way tmi, I apologize...

Well I'm from the april board but what the heck... I have experienced this lovely pregnancy side effect with my last pregnancy and it was a boy. However I think this did happen with my first and it was a girl soooo no guarantees there. I also had very strange crushes during my pregnancies. Odd celebrities that type of thing. Hormones do crazy things!

I don't know if I've had an O wile sleeping, but it seems like I'm always having sex dreams about my ex lately, like every freaking night. I feel so bad, cause I love my husband, but damn if I were to see my ex I would so jump on him. I read somewhere that it's normal to have dreams about your exes when you are pregnant.

Yup, had those last time, had a boy. It's happened once so far this pregnancy (before I knew I was pregnant). I also have the ex dreams when pregnant, had one of those already, too!

Had that big time with my first, and I had a girl. So far, no sign of it this time. I'm kinda disappointed .

Only when pregnant? Gosh, I've had those kinds of dreams since I was a teenager.

I liked the pregnancy side-effect of stronger, longer orgasms during sex. That was really interesting.

I do too, but not that frequently. When I was pg with dd, it was like an epidemic .

I am in the Sept ddc but just had to add that I have them too. Rarely when not pregnant but frequently when pregnant. I have 2 boys and don't know yet about this babe. I also had an ectstatic birth, although not orgasmic, with my 2nd son. Wonder if the 2 are related?

OMG ladies thanks for this thread. I did not experience this last pregnancy that I remember. But the dreams are definitely there! DOn't know about an O while sleeping but the dreams are pretty vivid:

I get this too, and it also happened during the weeks before DH and I got married. I think, for me anyway, it's me freaking out a bit about the commitment. Once you have kids together, you're bonded for life, whether or not you stay married, you know? It's really heavy. I'm happy about it, but I guess on some level it makes me nervous, because I start having these "hey wait, I'm really in love with my college boyfriend, this marriage has been a big mistake!" dreams. Which is complete crap because my college boyfriend was kind of an a*s.

Bummer...no sleep Os for me. But, I am having some very nice dreams....

HAHA I love this subject I must confess though that I am prone to sleeping orgasms even when not pregnant, so that doesn't really support the "having a boy" theory
