Me! Me! Me!

Does he just seem like the sweetest guy, or what? I listen to his music and feel like he must be a truly good person. It's so...empathetic.

That one isn't ringing a bell right away. I'm going to have to go out to the car and grab my CD to listen. Is it on his newest one?

Drat! The CD is in DH's truck. And I'm not finding it online--is it one of these songs?

yup, its on supply and demand. I've listened to the lyrics carefully (rather disturbing but intriguing : ) but I am not sure exactly what he is referring to....I know he killed a girl but why? Sex, drugs? I loved the tune of the song but when I actually listened to the lyrics I was a bit surprised. Listen to it later and tell me what you think

Lullabye

Amos Lee is an incredible artist, singer, songwriter! His music seems to touch people so deeply (just check out his myspace page comments). Have seen him twice in concert and would highly recommend it, although at this moment I think he is off tour to record a third cd (that's what he said at his 9/07 show). I'm sure he will be back on the road soon as he seems to love performing and any new tour dates will be posted there.

His song "Lullabye" is written from a serial killer's point of view. Amos says he sometimes writes songs and tell stories from other people's perspectives. . . .he finds that more interesting than his own. You can see him talk about it here:
