Are there any more or less non-toxic remedies to get rid of silverfish? The nasty little things are everywhere and they're totally squicking me out.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I don't know but I seriously hate those things. I found a bunch in my favorite book of fairy stories as a child and haven't touched the book since
I hope you can find something that works for you!! I always do a really deep clean and try to keep furniture, etc away from walls for awhile when I spot them.

They come in when they need water or a warm place to sleep. Acouple easy solutions:
1. Create an outside drinking/heating station with some old pots.
2. Diotomaceous Earth. Kills bugs dead. Available at your better hardware stores. Non-toxic.
3. Get a smashing shoe. Smash bugs.
Funny story:
AT the farmers market loading a pint of peaches into my bag when what should appear crawling up my hand but a gross old silverfish. What did I do? Screech, and toss the peach up in the air.
it hit a guy in the next row over and rolled across the market. I hate those leggy bastards!

We have them. I find them mostly in the bathroom and under the kitchen sink or near the freezer. I hate them. We haven't used bug sprays because we're worried about our cats breathing it in. I do know that those sticky strips work good. It's DH's project. I prefer not to see how many we catch.
